WWII British Army Anti-Gas Eyeshields, Mk. II, with Full Envelope & Air Spray Instruction Card.
Often called “Rommel Goggles, ” these WWII British-made Anti-Gas Eyeshields (Mk II) were widely used in North Africa as sun and sand protection and were frequently worn by German Afrika Korps troops, including Field Marshal Rommel. The petroleum based lens film has dried over the past 65 years in storage, rendering the glasses extremely brittle.
