St Ives Fishing Diorama – Model of SS114, Toman Family Vessel, Coastal Scene
A hand-crafted maritime diorama portraying the St Ives fishing vessel SS114, historically owned by R. H. Toman (Skipper) and Peter Toman of Back Road East, St Ives. The model depicts the inshore boat drawn in against a high cliff face, with realistically modelled surf, shoreline and scattered fish boxes—typical of the unloading process used by small Cornish fishing craft during the early–mid 20th century.
Painted in the vessel’s characteristic blue and yellow colours, the piece conveys strong regional character and period atmosphere. An evocative one-off coastal model ideal for collectors of maritime or Cornish interest.
