A Georgian/Victorian Copper Tea Urn/Samovar, 19th Century
An impressive copper and brass hot-water urn of baluster form, raised on a square stepped base with turned feet. The body fitted with twin ring handles and a domed removable lid with pierced vent and turned finial. The original brass spout is present but detached, and the lower front shows evidence of an old solder repair. The interior retains its original central heater column. Surface wear, dents, verdigris and patination consistent with age; offered as a restoration project.
