Two T.G. Green Cornishware Jugs, Blue and White Stripe
A matched pair of T.G. Green Cornishware jugs, each decorated with the classic broad blue and white horizontal banding. Both with pouring lips and loop handles, bearing printed factory marks to the bases, one stamped Original Cornish Kitchenware, the other marked T.G. Green, Cornish Blue, including one example noted as No. 2 quality.
The Cornishware pattern, introduced in the 1920s and produced throughout the mid-20th century, remains one of the most recognisable and collectible British ceramic designs. These mugs display good colour and form, with light wear and minor staining consistent with age and use.
