A German Porcelain Dinner and Tableware Service, by Thomas
Comprising a lidded tureen with twin handles, a covered serving dish, a gravy boat with stand, a twin-handled sugar bowl with saucer, and a selection of serving plates, all decorated with scattered floral sprays and gilt-edged rims on a white ground. Each piece bears printed marks to the underside for Thomas, Germany, with pattern numbers including 4473 F. The service dates to the mid-20th century and reflects the restrained elegance typical of German tableware of the period. Condition varies, with light surface wear, minor rubbing to gilding and occasional firing or age-related marks, but generally presents well overall.
