A commemorative nautical mantel clock produced by Sewills of Liverpool to mark the centenary of the Royal Navy Submarine Service (1901–2001). The clock features a blue dial with white Arabic numerals, a 24-hour outer track, and white hands. The dial is marked with the H.M. Submarines badge, the dates 1901 – 2001, the phrase Maker to the Admiralty, and SEWILLS Estd 1800 ad LIVERPOOL. The movement is housed within a polished brass-tone metal bezel featuring a functional side hinge and latch. The assembly is mounted on a stepped, dark mahogany-finish wooden base.
