An original Bank of England Five Pounds note, signed J. B. Page (Chief Cashier), serial number 51C 800220. Obverse featuring a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II; reverse with the traditional Britannia seated design within ornate guilloché engraving.
Condition: Circulated. Showing folds and creasing from use, with general surface wear and some edge handling; colours remain clear and the note is complete.
A classic pre-decimal Bank of England £5 note from the post-war period, increasingly popular with collectors.
