A Victorian Tunbridge-Ware Style Tie Press
A late 19th-century gentleman’s tie press, of rectangular form, the hinged wooden jaws inlaid with geometric marquetry in contrasting woods in the Tunbridge-ware style, fitted with a central metal screw clamp with turned knobs, the interior plain. Showing surface wear, scuffs and minor losses to the inlay consistent with age and use.
