19th Century Victorian Porcelain Jug, in the Style of Worcester
A 19th century Victorian porcelain jug, decorated in the Worcester style with a deep ruby band, gilt floral swags and fine gilded detailing, the handle modelled with a classical mask terminal. Of baluster form with gilt rim and accents throughout. Unmarked. Showing age-related wear and rubbing to gilding, consistent with period use. An attractive decorative piece, evocative of Worcester production of the mid-to-late 19th century.
