Condition report:
The medal is missing its original circular suspension ring and the multi-colored silk moire ribbon. The integral barrel suspension remains intact at the top of the disk. The bronze surface exhibits moderate wear, scattered oxidation, and spots of verdigris, particularly on the obverse. Minor pitting and edge bruising are present, consistent with age. Much of the original gilt finish has worn off, exposing the bronze base. This is an authentic period issue.
