A framed maritime print illustrating 17th-century Dutch naval vessels, after a watercolour by Rafael Monleón (Spanish, 1840–1900). The scene depicts several sailing ships flying Dutch flags in a seascape. Below the primary image, a window in the matting reveals calligraphic Spanish text translating to 17th Century Dutch Navy, Collection of watercolours by Rafael Monleón (1840-1900), Naval Museum. The artwork is housed in a multi-toned wooden frame with a gold-finished inner fillet and a cream-coloured mat. The reverse side is finished with a standard backing board and an installed hanging wire.
