A heavy cast-iron cauldron with a swing handle, showing a rich, timeworn patina from years of use. The interior and exterior display consistent surface rust and wear, characteristic of early utilitarian cookware, and there is a faint maker’s stamp to the side, now softened with age. Robustly made and deeply evocative of traditional hearth cooking, this cauldron would have been used over an open fire for stews, boiling, or household tasks, and today stands as a striking piece of rustic or historical interest.
With slight crack in the inside rim.
