Corgi Classics Hesketh 308 Ford Cosworth V8 James Hunt Formula 1 Model 1990s
Corgi Classics die-cast metal model of the Hesketh 308 Ford Cosworth V8, released as part of The Donington Collection presented by John Surtees. This approximately 1:43 scale model depicts the iconic Formula 1 car driven by James Hunt, finished in a white base livery with red and blue diagonal stripes and racing number 24. The model features a detailed driver figure with a black helmet, authentic team decals including the Scottish and English flags, and James Hunt’s signature reproduced on the cockpit side. The car is constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components and features a standard free-wheeling mechanism. It is housed in its original grey and blue window display box, which includes a fold-up header card featuring John Surtees and historical text on the reverse detailing the Hesketh-Hunt partnership and Harvey Postlethwaite’s engineering.
