Collection of Six Vintage 1970s Trading Cards and Stickers including Asterix and DC Comics Guardian Robot
A collection of six vintage trading cards and character stickers dating from the late 1970s, featuring a variety of comic book and European animation franchises. The lot includes two die-cut stickers from the Asterix the Gaul series, published by Dargaud Editeur, featuring the characters Nidulus Maximus (Roman Centurion) and Mickas (Caledonian chieftain). Also included is a 1978 DC Comics Inc. "Guardian Robot" profile card, which depicts a mechanical antagonist from the Superman mythos with a detailed character biography on the reverse. The final three items are psychedelic-style novelty stickers characteristic of 1970s counter-culture or food premium art, featuring vibrant illustrations of a monkey-like creature, a football player wearing number 42, and various surreal figures. These stickers include "Fold Back" and "Peel Back" instructions on the lower borders. All items are in English and represent a diverse cross-section of late 20th-century ephemera.
