Collection of Diecast Model Vehicles including Lledo “Days Gone”, Matchbox, and Various Loose Cars
A collection of approximately sixteen model vehicles and associated items, primarily comprising boxed and loose examples from British manufacturers Matchbox and Lledo. The boxed items include Matchbox Models of Yesteryear featuring a Y12 1937 G.M.C. Van in Baxters livery and a Y-27 1922 Foden Steam Lorry in Pickfords livery. Also included are smaller scale Matchbox models such as an MB-38 Dewhurst van and an MB17 London Bus in Bristol Airport livery. Lledo examples include Models of Days Gone such as a Golden Shred van, a Wells Drinks van, and a horse-drawn fire engine, along with a Promotional Model van in Pure butter naturally livery. The lot further contains a ViewVans The Collectable Souvenir model of a green vintage-style van. Loose items comprise a group of vehicles including a silver Porsche 924 with Recaro and Cibie decals, a blue Jaguar XJ6, and a red Lotus Esprit. A blue plastic vehicle-related container and a postcard depicting a model collection are also present. The vehicles are primarily constructed from die-cast metal with plastic components, including windows, interiors, and tyres.
