Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Lidded Casserole Dish
A Royal Worcester fine porcelain oven-to-tableware lidded casserole dish in the Evesham Gold pattern. The oval body features two integrated gilded side handles and a matching lid with a central gilded knob finial. The exterior is decorated with transfer-printed botanical motifs, including bundles of asparagus, chestnuts in husks, sliced apples, lemons, and bramble berries with foliage. The rims and handles are finished with hand-applied gold gilding. The base bears the Royal Worcester circular crown mark with the number 51, and is inscribed ROYAL PORCELAIN WORCESTER FINE, MADE IN ENGLAND, OVEN TO TABLE WARE, © 1961 ROYAL WORCESTER, with Evesham in script.
