A Mid-20th Century Studio Pottery Stoneware Jug
A small studio pottery jug of globular form, constructed from wheel-thrown stoneware. The vessel features a wide, flared rim and a single loop handle. The exterior is finished in a matte, speckled tan glaze with prominent horizontal throwing marks visible around the body. This item is characteristic of mid-20th-century British studio pottery.
