A Collection of Five Cut Glass and Crystal Items Including an Edinburgh Crystal Decanter
This collection of five items includes two decanters and three brandy glasses. The primary piece is an Edinburgh Crystal lead crystal ship’s style decanter with a conical base. The body features a deep-cut diamond pattern over a field of fan-shaped radiating cuts, while the neck is decorated with vertical flute cuts. It is fitted with a faceted globular stopper and retains a blue diamond Edinburgh Crystal foil label and a purple label stating Made in Portugal. The second item is a square-bodied spirit decanter decorated with a uniform diamond and hobnail cutting pattern, topped with a flat, square-topped faceted stopper. The lot is completed by three plain glass brandy balloons of varying sizes, featuring uncut bowls on simple stems and circular feet. One glass bears a frosted square label with a logo consisting of three concentric arches.
