A Collection of Limited Edition Ceramic Collector Plates by Wedgwood, Coalport, and Poole Pottery
A collection of limited edition decorative ceramic collector plates featuring rural English pastoral and maritime themes. The group includes several pieces from prominent British manufacturers. Featured items include Wedgwood fine bone china plates from the Country Connections series titled Over the Canal and The Midday Local by John Chapman, and from the Country Days series titled Lunch Break and Feeding Time by Chris Howells. Also included is a Wedgwood Queen’s Ware plate titled Threshing by Michael Herring, produced for Danbury Mint. The collection is completed by a Coalport bone china plate titled The Old Mill by Robert Hersey from The Tale of a Country Village series, and a Poole Pottery fine earthenware plate titled Whitby by Kevin Platt from the Famous Fishing Harbours series. All plates feature detailed printed backstamps on the reverse, including series titles, artist attributions, and individual limited edition numbers. The items are accompanied by a stack of original manufacturer cardboard storage boxes, some of which bear handwritten identification labels.
