A Trio of Victoria Ware Ironstone Flow Blue Octagonal Jugs
A trio of matching Victoria Ware ironstone jugs decorated in the Flow Blue style. Each vessel features an octagonal bulbous body tapering to a neck with a flared, scalloped rim and a single loop handle. The decoration consists of transfer-printed floral patterns in a deep cobalt blue that bleeds into the surrounding light-coloured glaze. The base of each item features a blue printed mark depicting the Royal Arms of the United Kingdom with a lion and unicorn supporting a central shield. Below the shield is a banner containing the text VICTORIA WARE, with the word IRONSTONE printed in smaller characters underneath.
