Description
A Collection of Art Glass Paperweights and a Miniature Teapot
A collection of thirteen decorative glass items comprising twelve paperweights and one miniature teapot. The assortment includes several floral lampwork designs: a large paperweight featuring a red flower over a pink base with controlled bubbles, a medium paperweight with a mauve rose and green foliage, and a smaller example with an orange flower. One small paperweight contains scattered yellow and white millefiori-style chips. The pictorial items include two green-based paperweights with etched depictions of a stately home and a Scottish Highland soldier, a paperweight containing two dark fish over a blue textured coral-style formation with controlled bubbles, and one with a white opaque inclusion resembling a mountain peak. The collection also features a domed Union Jack paperweight presented in a partial cardboard box, an abstract swirl paperweight in blue and purple tones, a green internal layer paperweight with a regular pattern of controlled bubbles, and a clear faceted conical paperweight. The miniature teapot is constructed from clear blown glass with internal pink and magenta swirls.
