A Pair of Oversized Mid-Century Stylised Ceramic Cockerel Figurines
A pair of matching decorative ceramic figurines depicting stylised cockerels. Each bird is designed with a globular, rounded form. The construction features a combination of glazed and unglazed surfaces. The main bodies are finished in a matt, unglazed dark brown earthy tone. The heads, wings, and tails are decorated with a vibrant cobalt blue glaze. The combs and wattles are finished in a deep reddish-brown glaze, while the beaks feature a lighter ochre-brown glaze. The eyes are rendered as simple painted dots.
