Sterling silver scalloped fringe collar necklace, Mid-Century Modern Style
A sterling silver collar necklace of Modernist design, featuring a scalloped fringe. The piece is constructed from a flexible, segmented band with numerous suspended vertical slats of graduated lengths, creating a repeating wave or scallop pattern, a style often referred to as a Cleopatra fringe. The decorative front transitions into an oval-link extender chain finished with a small spherical bead. Hallmarked 925 for sterling silver on the reverse, alongside the maker’s mark AE. Secured by a lobster claw clasp. Length approx. 38cm – 43cm (adjustable).
