An unmounted oval shell cameo depicting the Goddess Flora
An unmounted oval shell cameo carved in relief. The piece depicts a classical female bust in profile facing left, featuring a detailed hairstyle adorned with floral wreaths and flowing tresses, characteristic of the Goddess Flora. The carving is executed in white shell against a natural orange-tan ground. The reverse is plain and follows the natural curvature of the shell.
