A likely antique Hand-Coloured Topographical Print View of Penzance from the West
This framed likely antique topographical print depicts a panoramic landscape titled VIEW OF PENZANCE FROM THE WEST. The hand-coloured scene captures the Cornish coastal town from an elevated westerly vantage point, featuring rural fields with livestock in the foreground and St Michael’s Mount in the distance. Text along the lower margin indicates the work was Published by J.P. Vibert, Penzance. The print is presented in a modern gilt-finished frame with a wide, double-layered mount under glass. The reverse is sealed with a gallery label from The Framer’s Gallery, Penzance and is fitted with a cord for hanging.
