A Framed Floral Needlework Embroidery
A framed needlework embroidery depicting a floral still life. The composition features a variety of flowers including irises, cornflowers, and poppies arranged within a vase decorated with a turquoise wave pattern. The work is executed in coloured threads on a neutral-toned fabric ground. The piece is housed under glass within a moulded rectangular frame with gilt and silver-toned finishes. The reverse is sealed with brown paper and retains a label for The Framer’s Gallery, Penzance, Cornwall.
