Onyx Benetton Ford B194 Formula 1 Racing Car, c.1994.
A 1/43 scale die-cast model of the Benetton Ford B194 Formula 1 racing car, manufactured by Onyx (Minibri Ltd) in Portugal. This static display model represents the vehicle driven by J.J. Lehto (Car #6) during the 1994 season. The model features a die-cast metal body finished in the authentic green and blue Benetton livery, complemented by plastic components including the front and rear wings, side mirrors, and a seated driver figure. The item is housed in its original clear acrylic display case, which features a black plastic base and a mirrored rear panel adorned with the yellow Onyx logo. Identification is provided by a gold-tone label on the front of the base stating 5019A Benetton Ford B194 J.J. Lehto, noting it was manufactured under licence from Benetton Formula Ltd. The rear of the case retains the original manufacturer label confirming it was made in Portugal by Onyx – Minibri Ltd, alongside a retail barcode sticker.
