A Neoclassical Style Parian Ware Figurine of a Draped Female Figure
A small decorative figurine in the Neoclassical style, crafted from unglazed white bisque porcelain or Parian ware intended to imitate the appearance of classical marble. The figure depicts a standing female in a traditional draped chiton, holding a fold of her garment in her right hand while gathering drapery over her left shoulder. The piece is set upon an integral square plinth. There are no visible maker’s marks or factory stamps; the underside of the base exhibits characteristic casting irregularities and air bubbles.
