Description
Resin and composite decorative artificial fruit collection, late 20th century
A collection of decorative artificial fruit, comprising three bunches of grapes and a single nectarine or plum. The grape clusters are crafted from semi-translucent resin in shades of light green, dark purple-brown, and mottled dark green, each featuring artificial fabric leaves on wire-reinforced plastic stems. The nectarine is fashioned from a solid composite material with a hand-painted gradient finish. These pieces are designed for centrepiece display and reflect the realistic decorative styles of the late 20th century. No maker’s marks are present. Grape bunches approximately 15cm to 20cm in length; nectarine approximately 7cm in diameter.
