Description
A Saudi Arabian commemorative presentation plaque featuring a gold-toned metal plate mounted on a rectangular dark green velvet-covered board. The central plate is decorated with an engraved green foliate border and features the Saudi Arabian national emblem of a palm tree over crossed swords in gilt relief at the top. Centred on the plate is a silver-toned metal rectangular relief panel depicting the architectural complex of the Medical City and National Guard Hospital in Jeddah. Below this relief is an inset silver-toned plate inscribed with text in green Arabic and English: Medical City and National Guard Hospital in Jeddah. A small, illegible maker’s mark is present in the bottom right corner of the gold-toned plate.
