Description
A contemporary cold-cast bronze sculpture titled Just Dance, designed by Mitko Kavrikov for Frith Sculpture. The work features a stylised, elongated female figure in a dancing pose, holding the edges of her flared skirt. The figure is characterised by a modernist aesthetic, with a smooth, featureless face and slender limbs that contrast with the heavily textured, dark brown patinated surface of the dress. The sculpture is mounted on an integral stepped square plinth. A small, stylised monogram reading MK is incised on the figure’s upper chest. The underside of the base is covered in red felt and retains two original manufacturer’s labels: an oval label stating An Original Design from FRITH SCULPTURE and a rectangular barcode label identifying the piece as MK007 Just Dance.
