Description
A contemporary stylized ceramic cat figurine produced by Old Tupton Ware. The piece is constructed from glazed ceramic and features hand-painted tube-lined decoration in a floral poppy motif. The design consists of red poppy blossoms with green foliage and black stems set against a pale yellow ground. The figurine is modelled in an elongated, sitting pose. The underside of the base bears a black printed manufacturer mark featuring a crown and the text Old Tupton Ware. Additionally, an original gold foil adhesive label is present, stating Hand Painted, Old Tupton Ware, and providing a UK telephone contact number.
