Description
A collection of UK bronze coins presented in a Heritage Mint display titled Royal House of Windsor Historic British Coins of the Realm. The set includes pre-decimal bronze coins featuring the obverse portraits of Queen Victoria (Veiled Head), King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II (first laureate portrait). The coins are mounted within a black and gold mat that includes a royal coat of arms, a genealogical chart of the Houses of Hanover and Windsor, and the printed mark of Heritage Mint at the bottom centre. The display is housed in a dark wood frame with a gold-tone inner fillet. The coins are mounted obverse-side up, showing Latin legends including DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX or REGINA and FID DEF. The mat includes printed dates for each monarch ranging from 1837 to 1952. This collection represents the lineage of British monarchs from the House of Hanover to the House of Windsor.
