A collection of die-cast metal and plastic vehicles primarily from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear and Lledo Days Gone series. The Matchbox Models of Yesteryear selection features several Y-series models in original window boxes, including Y-27 1922 Foden Steam Lorries in Tate & Lyle and Pickfords liveries, a Y-27 Foden C Type Steam Wagon and Trailer limited edition twin-pack for Frasers House Furnishers, a Y-25 1910 Renault Type AG for The Eagle Pencil Co., a Y-12 1937 G.M.C. Van for Baxter’s Royal Game Soup, a Y-10 1906 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, and a Y-3 1927 Talbot in Taystee bread livery. The Lledo Days Gone series includes a London Fire Brigade horse-drawn fire engine, a St. Ivel Cheese double-decker bus, and various promotional vans with liveries for Golden Shred, John Bull Tyres, and Cherry Blossom Shoe Polish. Further boxed items include a Lledo Premier Collection Rowntree’s Pastilles delivery van, a Lledo The Collectable Souvenir series van, a Matchbox MB-38 Ford Model A in Dewhurst livery, and a Matchbox MB-17 London Bus in Bristol Airport livery. The collection also contains a group of loose vehicles including multiple Porsche 944 models, a Matchbox 34 truck, and a blue plastic double-decker bus. All vehicles are free-wheeling models with die-cast bodies and plastic components.
