Description
A collection of approximately eighteen contemporary beer and cider glasses with a focus on Cornish and West Country breweries. The lot features a variety of glass styles including pint and half-pint measures, tulip glasses, and stemmed chalices. Notable pieces include Thatchers Cider glasses decorated with monochrome line-art of Somerset landmarks such as the Clifton Suspension Bridge; a Sharp’s Brewery Solar Wave Hazy IPA glass with colourful graphics; and Skinner’s Brewery glasses featuring the Betty Stogs character and nautical illustrations. The collection also contains Healey’s Cornish Cyder Rattler glasses with the green snake mascot, St Austell Brewery Korev and 130-year anniversary glasses, Wychwood Brewery Hobgoblin, a ribbed Carling pint glass, a San Miguel chalice, and Black Sheep Brewery drinkware. Many pieces are marked with UK weights and measures including PINT, 1/2 PINT, and CE marks such as M12 and M19. All items are constructed of glass.
