Description
A collection of costume jewellery and accessories including three rings, three pairs of earrings, an unmounted cameo, and a vintage optician’s case. The rings comprise a silver-tone band featuring a cast lion’s head motif, a gold-tone cocktail ring set with a large pyramidal cut faceted purple glass stone, and a gold-tone signet style ring with an oval dark green cabochon. The earrings include a pair of silver-tone crescent hoops with rope-twist borders, a pair of drop earrings with spherical purple foil-glass beads on silver-tone hooks, and a pair of small gold-tone rectangular lever-back earrings. Also included is an unmounted oval shell cameo carved with a classical female profile adorned with grapes and vines. The lot is accompanied by a vintage dark brown faux-crocodile skin optician’s case with a blue velvet interior, featuring a gold-stamped label for Coombes Opticians, 87 Fore St., Devonport.
