Description
This collection comprises four hand-painted wildlife figurines mounted on wooden plinths, featuring British and North American subjects. The primary piece is a Bossons Fraser-Art model titled First Course? which depicts a family of three raccoons peering over a rocky outcrop and tree stump. The underside of the wooden base features a circular blue and silver metallic emblem for Bossons, Congleton, England, and a paper label for The Crown Collection. This specific model is recorded as number 355, hand-painted by S. Kim, and carries a 1980 copyright for Fraser-art Ltd. Also included are figurines from The Leonardo Collection Nature Studies range, including a study of a kingfisher and a robin on a flowering branch and a pair of kingfishers on a mossy stump. These items are constructed from hand-painted cast resin. One base retains a gold foil sticker with the Leonardo Collection crown and crossed swords insignia, dated 1991.
