Description
A collection of seven glassware items comprising four cut glass decanters and three brandy balloons. The group includes a ships-style decanter featuring a broad weighted base with deep criss-cross diamond cutting and vertical fan motifs. The tapering neck is vertically ribbed and fitted with a globular faceted stopper. This piece retains a blue diamond-shaped foil label for Edinburgh Crystal with a silver lion rampant and a secondary label marked Made in Portugal. Also included are three square-form spirits decanters of varying designs. The first features a criss-cross diamond pattern with a square star-cut stopper. The second is a larger example with a dense diamond-cut body and a wide flat rectangular faceted stopper. The third square decanter displays a diamond pattern with ribbed shoulders and a tall pointed teardrop-shaped stopper. Completing the lot are three plain uncut glass brandy balloons with short stems and circular bases.
