Description
A pair of twin-handled lidded ceramic vessels, possibly sugar bowls or small tureens, featuring a decorative scheme attributed to the Noritake Fitzgerald pattern. Each vessel is constructed from white porcelain with a low cylindrical body and two scroll-form handles. The decoration consists of a wide transfer-printed band of marbled green malachite effect, bordered by gilded rims and a secondary gold band featuring a repeating geometric pattern of interlocking circles and stars. The matching domed lids are topped with rounded finials and repeat the malachite and gilded decorative motifs. No maker marks are visible on the exterior or underside in the provided images.
