An assortment of UK commemorative First Day Covers spanning the period 1971 to 1982, housed in a green Stanley Gibbons New Thames Cover Album. The collection includes various commemorative sets including the 1971 General Anniversaries, 1973 Royal Wedding of HRH Princess Anne, 1973 Christmas, 1979 International Year of the Child, 1979 Sir Rowland Hill, 1980 British Birds, 1980 Liverpool & Manchester Railway, 1980 Sport, 1980 British Conductors, 1982 British Textiles, and 1982 Maritime Heritage. The covers feature multicoloured perforated stamps with circular date stamp cancellations, predominantly from the Exeter District and Barnstaple, Devon. Most covers are addressed and are accompanied by the original informational insert cards. The collection is stored within clear plastic pocket pages.
