A complete commemorative medal collection produced by Esso in 1972 to celebrate the centenary of the F.A. Cup competition. The set is presented in a blue card folder and comprises 30 silver-tone medals and one central gold-tone centenary medal. Each silver-tone medal features the club crest of a different F.A. Cup winner from the first century of the tournament. The interior of the folder includes a panel titled 100 Years of Football – The story of the F.A. Cup Winners 1872-1972, featuring action photography and the Esso brand logo. The medals are housed in a dedicated mounting card with each slot labelled by club name. The reverse of the folder provides a detailed chronological list of F.A. Cup winners, finalists, and scores from 1872 to 1972.
