Description
This collection comprises a group of vintage military toys from several noted British manufacturers. The die-cast vehicles are produced by Dinky Toys (Meccano Ltd) and are finished in military green. The group includes a 10-Ton Army Truck (No. 622), a Field Artillery Tractor (No. 688), a 25PR Gun (No. 697), and a Trailer for the 25PR Gun (No. 687). These pieces feature various embossed markings on the undersides including Dinky Toys, Meccano Ltd, and their respective model numbers. An additional unbranded die-cast radar trailer with a rotating dish mechanism is also included. The lot features approximately 16 plastic figures, primarily infantry soldiers in combat poses and one silver-painted knight. Manufacturer marks on the figure bases identify them as Lone Star (Harvey Series), Timpo, and Crescent Toy Co Ltd (Ref K2).
