Description
A collection of mid-to-late 20th-century world coins presented in a woven wicker basket. The lot predominantly comprises currency from the Hungarian People’s Republic (Magyar Nepkoztarsasag), including denominations of 10, 20, and 50 filler, alongside 1, 2, 5, and 10 forint pieces. These coins are struck in various base metals including aluminium, copper-nickel, and brass-coloured alloys, with visible dates including 1960, 1972, and 1983. The collection further includes a group of aluminium coins from the German Democratic Republic (GDR) bearing the national emblem, housed in a plastic tube. Two plastic bags contain a quantity of copper-alloy coins, including UK decimal issues.
