An assortment of United Kingdom stamp booklets and panes spanning the GPO pre-decimal and Royal Mail decimal eras. The collection includes pre-decimal GPO booklets with 2/- denominations and a variety of decimal Royal Mail booklets with denominations of 10p, 50p, £1, and £2. Notable issues include Machin Head definitives, Greetings stamps with clown motifs, and commemorative panes for the London 1980 exhibition. Also present are postal history themed panes featuring Penny Black and Downey Head designs, as well as topical sets depicting antique motor vehicles, aircraft, and floral subjects. Inscriptions on the items include GPO STAMPS, Royal Mail, First Class Stamps, and London 1980. The stamps are mint and uncancelled, preserved in their original booklet or pane formats. The collection is housed in a red-covered ring binder containing clear plastic multi-pocket storage sheets.
