Description
A black felt bowler hat of British manufacture circa early 20th century. The interior crown features an adhered perforated manufacturer’s label, printed in dark ink on a cream-coloured ground. The label displays a central heraldic design with a crest and crown. Interior leather sweatband is embossed with British Manufacture in cursive script and the alphanumeric mark A69X, which is underlined with a flourish. The hat is finished with a matching grosgrain ribbon and a bound brim.
