This contemporary print on paper by Josh Adams features a high-contrast graphic portrait of the actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes. The monochrome composition includes a deep burgundy wash at the base of the figure, designed to appear as ink flowing from an overturned inkwell depicted at the lower right.
