A Collection of Novelty Ceramic Humpty Dumpty and Clown Character Egg Cups
A collection of hand-painted ceramic novelty egg cups, primarily featuring anthropomorphic characters in the style of Humpty Dumpty and circus clowns. The assortment includes figures depicted sitting upon brick-effect walls and a pair of figures on a curved tray base with floral motifs. Notable items include a figure wearing a yellow hat inscribed Truro and a larger clown character with a blue and white striped body and a top hat. One piece is marked to the underside with a printed stamp for Collectable Porcelain, Mansell Print Ltd ©, and retains a retail sticker from Redruth dated 1-9-08.
