A collection of vintage ceramic egg cups featuring characters from the British children’s television programme Sooty. The assortment comprises various designs, including figural molded cups where the character forms the vessel, and standard goblet or square-based shapes. Many pieces are attributed to Keele Street Pottery and feature transfer-printed decals depicting Sooty in diverse scenarios, such as bathing or integrated into a clock face. The collection includes the character Sweep, depicted in a figural form. The items are finished in multi-coloured glazes, primarily in yellow, cream, and blue tones. Several examples carry the Sooty name in stylized script.
