Two English Bone China Figurines comprising Royal Doulton Elaine and Coalport Debbie
Two English bone china figurines featuring examples from Royal Doulton and Coalport. The first is a Royal Doulton figurine titled Elaine, model HN 2791, modelled by Peggy Davies and dated 1979. The figure is depicted in a cobalt blue gown, holding a white fan in her right hand while lifting the edge of her skirt with her left. The second is a Coalport figurine from the Ladies of Fashion series titled Debbie, designated as the Figurine of the Year 1999 and modelled by Jack Glynn. This figure is shown in a pale blue gown with a textured white stole draped over her arms. Both pieces are hand-decorated and feature printed manufacturer backstamps on the underside. The Royal Doulton mark includes the model name, HN number, and modeller attribution. The Coalport mark includes the series title, figurine name, year of issue, and modeller attribution.
