A Collection of British Army Lists and a British Gurkhas Nepal Heraldic Shield
A collection of British military ephemera and memorabilia. The lot includes three softcover volumes of The Army List, Part III Biographical, for the years 1989, 1991, and 2004. These volumes are marked Restricted and were published By Authority, with the 1991 edition produced by Her Majesty’s Stationery Office. Accompanying the publications is a heraldic wall shield for the British Gurkhas Nepal. The shield is mounted on a dark wood base and features a red and green field decorated with crossed kukris. A gilt scroll at the base bears the unit title. The shield is housed in its original Navy, Army & Air Force Institutes (NAAFI) branded box, which is labelled Heraldic Shield and displays the NAAFI crest and motto Servitor Servientium.
